I have no idea, but I'm answering to wish you luck!
2 :
Buy a newspaper and find who's in charge and contact them.
3 :
You write things and try to sell them. When you are selling enough to live on then it is your job. If what you are writing is fiction, you should be aware that the average pro author in the UK earns just a quarter of the national average wage from writing. The vast majority of freelance writers have another job as well (or are looking after kids at home

Are there any freelance writer job sites where you can actually find good assignments

Are there any freelance writer job sites where you can actually find good assignments?
I found one of those websites that list freelance writing jobs (by the project). You have to bid and explain why you'd be the best person for the work. Just to see what would happen, I put in a 'bid' for an assignment to edit a textbook, and listed my writing experience (as did about five other people). I got the assignment which pays a total of $100.00. I happened to have the highest bid too. The job should take about six hours so it's hardly worth the trouble. Are there any sites that offer more 'challenging' assignments, or do they basically work so that the site sponsor (this site, anyway) makes money via a 5% to 6% fee.

Go to http://www.guru.com/ to see if you qualify for any of the posted contract jobs. If so, you can post your qualifications and bid on the work.
2 :
if you are afraid to try some of those random sites, consider checking out some magazines on your topic of interest. many mags accept articles from anyone as long as the work matches the mag's style and appeals to the mag's audience. so, if you already subscribe, you'll be better prepared to focus your work to their typical reader. also, their sites should list how much they pay, the type of pieces they are looking for, how to submit (usually email), any deadlines, and possible topics. try that before paying a fee for sources

what is a freelance job

what is a freelance job?
and would this be benifical for a young adult with aspergers? I don't have the aspegers.... this is purely for research

A freelance job is a job doing one thing..such as writing an article, designing some graphics, etc. It is neither beneficial nor detrimental for someone with Aspergers.
2 :
ummm...what steve said. It really doesn't matter if you have Aspergers. You can do any task or job you challenge yourself to.
3 :
A freelance job is one done independently of an organisation. For example; a freelance writer/journalist is someone who researches a topic of their choice and may submit it to various difference unrelated papers for publication. Benefits for an Asperger: * You'd be your own boss. * Work to your own schedule. * Wouldn't have to work in an office or deal with others on a regular basis. Potential issues for an Asperger: * No regular pay check - paid only when work is submitted and accepted. * Organisational issues. Can you get things completed by a certain date without someone looking over your shoulder? * No guiding hand, somewhat like college/university. If you can't organise yourself, submit work on time etc. no-one will be there to help/motivate you. Such a job has several benefits for an Aspie provided you're organised enough to deal with the lack of support. Good Luck!!
4 :
A freelance job is a work that anyone, of legal age, can do anytime, anywhere where he or she is an independent contractor working on a project basis. It may be beneficial for someone with aspergers who might have issues in working with colleagues in a usual corporate setting. Just make sure that his or her condition won't have an effect on the outcomes of the freelance job or in meeting client's deadlines

Freelance Non-Fiction and Fiction Writing Job

Freelance Non-Fiction and Fiction Writing Job?
I am young freelance writer who specializes in fictional novels, short stories, and screenplays. I am capable of writing non-fiction as well. I enjoy writing and do it everyday. I choose not to ghostwrite because I feel that I am helping someone lie, but I wouldn't mind co-writing with someone. I also can do news articles and opinion articles. I have had several years of experience writing articles for a school newspaper. So, if there is anyone out there interested in giving me a job let me know. If anyone has some good sites that I can visit and post this or look for decent freelance writing jobs that I can do over the computer, please let me know. Thanks for reading! I see where you are coming from. Maybe you did not catch the phrase: "young freelance writer". I have just recently reached adulthood and have NO experience in job hunting. I am here mainly to ask for help searching for a job opportunity. And thank you for the compliment about my grammar.

You used proper grammar, so I'll give you that, but let me tell you - if you were at all serious about this you wouldn't be advertising in Yahoo Answers.
2 :
Well, I don't see why you wouldn't advertise in Yahoo Answers. I wish you good luck and wish I could help you. My suggestion is that you begin sending your work out as a freelancer and hope for the best.
3 :
As a freelance writer, one of your most marketable skills is the ability to do your own research. What better way to practice than to use that skill to find your own way? I know it can be tough and it's a daunting task but if you don't learn to do it now, you never will. Google freelance writing jobs and you'll have plenty to work with. Just make sure you're doing your research and making sure none of your leads are known scams or unreliable about paying you on time. If you don't have a Paypal account already, consider getting one. It's a major method of payment for many online markets

If you have no references then you don't have any. People will sometimes put down teachers or volunteer positions they have had. Be sure to get permission from anyone who you are going to put down as a reference.

Help, I signed up on a freelance writing job?
I submitted my city, phone number, name, and family name to this website that is said to pay writers online. And I found out its a scam. What will happen to the information I gave them? Am I in trouble or anything? for giving them my personal information? please answer. thank you

be careful publishers are know-en to steal a manuscript an run.
2 :
you might get on a junk mail list
3 :
All the info you gave them can be found in the phone book. As long as you didn't give bank info or your SS# you should be fine. But you will end up on lots of junk mail lists now and probably get scam phone calls pretending to be from your bank, credit card company, prize draws, computer security, etc

good luck. i've tried all that stuff. have you ever tried dictation. a lot of companies let you work out of the comfort of your own home.
2 :
What I'm doing right now is Hits4Pay. You get paid to view ads and it's free to start, you also get a $10 bonus just for signing up with them. I'm not trying to advertise to you but it's what I do. Feel free to look over the site. You don't make good money like from a regular job, but if you work at it you can make it work. Good luck.
3 :
I think I already answered this question. :s Anyway, try survey and offer websites. I use them. There's a link on my profile to my top four. :]]]

Anyone here who's found a fair to well-paying freelance writing job through Freelance.com

Anyone here who's found a fair to well-paying freelance writing job through Freelance.com?
I'm in need of a typing, writing, proof-reading job. I want to start work from home really soon. I've been procrastinating about sending my $2.95 fee to a company called Freelance.com for nearly 2 years, now. So far, I have met at least one person face to face who has a wee bit more knowledge of how it works. I've not joined Freelance.com for one main little reason. I have no credit card and not sure how Pay-pal works, either. Is there anyone here who would be willing and able to share a few encouraging words, helpful hints, based on your own personal experience? Please. (Let me put it this way--someone here owns Boardwalk and Park Place with at least a house or two on one or the other. And, I don't even own a measly yellow or green deed. Can barely afford to take a ride on the Reading or B&O. Need work. Please, help me with some guidance & helpful suggestions. Whether or not you like my analogy. OK?)

Can't say I have, but this is the tax question and answer forum. You might find a better response if you find a forum in which to ask your question that has more to do with your subject
