www.translatorscafe.com
2 :
According to a Google search, the following three web sites want to hire free-lance translators: www.worldlingo.com www.babelfish.altavista.com www.freetranslation.com
3 :
try your state, county, or government websites--like being a translator for court proceeding, police departmets, schools, department of immigration, u.s. embassy. sometimes they have on-call basis jobs to get you over the hump. Some languages are in higher demands than others. You just have to check.

Might want to try www.eLance.com and www.Guru.com - both are highly reputable freelancer sites

usually free lance workers create a portfolio of their work. You can prepare a presentation of the jobs you have done to the company you are applying with. The samples of the invitations you made, the artwork you made, the designs you did. Have a picture of these if you do not have samples and explain the concept of the art work you have the invitations you created usually you create a creative power point presentation and bring some samples with you a compiled video of your work will be even better so you can leave of copy with them. good luck

How to put freelance jobs on resume

How to put freelance jobs on resume?
I've done freelance jobs before and I think I should put it on my resume, since the only "real job" I've had was working for McDonalds. Anyway, I did some web graphics and web site layouts (coding and graphics) for individual people. I never worked for a company, it was just people advertising my work by word of mouth locally. How do I go about putting this on my resume? How would I word it? Would it go under "work experience" or "accomplishments"? Thanks in advance

Using the title "Web Graphics Design, Freelance" just like a paid job in work experience, describe the work and say that samples are available upon request. You don't need to mention that you weren't paid for the work, that's between you and the tax department. You can mention that you got the work by word of mouth, it speaks of your reputation.

Hello hurrdurr : Think a little bigger. Your experience may be better suited in a CV (curriculum Vitae). These outline a breadth of experience and serve to show what you have done as opposed to a resume that is good for outlining if you are experienced and qualified for a specific job. In either case, be sure to be thorough and to enumerate how what you did gave value to your client/boss of the assignment/job you were a part of completing. Bear in mind McDonald's and your clients each had something to gain by selecting you as opposed to your constituents. McDonalds is a name but you also have a name and reputation. McDonald's established themselves selling hamburgers, hurrdurr is establishing him/herself to be "a resourceful web-design and graphics design consultant" "with a reputation of excellent work, client relations and continuous improvement". Your name, as opposed to McDonald's', is what really matters so be sure to include a few of your happy clients as references so whoever is hiring you can hear how great you were with them and get that much more reason to bring you on to their team. I have linked to a great video showing how to do this below. It is called "Developing Your Value Proposition" and answers in more detail what steps to take when writing your value proposition (or resume - whatever you call it), so that the reader will understand what benefit they will have by hiring you in terms of resourcefulness, savings, time, money, etc. "Developing Your Value Proposition" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brCA4ipgPak If you have more questions please visit http://www.oceanresume.com/index.php/blog . Is a freelance photographer a good job choice nowa days

Is a freelance photographer a good job choice nowa days?
What about offering to take pictures of houses agents are hoping to sell. Taking that non-productive task out of their hands for a small fee enabling them to work in income generating task?

I think you really have to LOVE it to do it, because at first you wont make very much, you have to build up your portfolio and business, but once you get going you can make a mint, and you can make your own hours!
2 :
You'll find that most real estate folks either do it themselves, or will pay you a pittance to do it for them. Like $25 a house if you are lucky, you pay your own gas/car/time and trouble. The only market that will pay decent in real estate is the big dollar stuff. That varies depending on where you are...but think mansions and the like. Of course these are usually done by pros with the proper gear and know-how, not your average "guy with camera" trying to make a few dollars. Go shoot a few houses, make yourself a portfolio, and go to every real estate office in your area. You may be able to sell your services... or you may not. Only way to know is to try
