seeking freelancing job in 3dmax architectural-animation ?

I have 5yrs old experience in 3dmax architectural animation.I'm seeking for a freelancing job which is being outsourced to India from USA or European countries. Basically, I want to provide this service over internet. Would be grateful if you could pass me some websites name where I can get such job. Presently, I 'm doing Interior and exterior designing(perspective) as well as animation in 3d max software and other multimedia softwares.

You can look on job sites...but most of those are not being outsourced as the companies seeking that skill want to have a face to face relationship with the artist first before they allow telecommuting....that is just the nature of the business world today... Also...you are competing with literally hundreds of thousands of people both inside and outside the US who want to do the same thing...there is more supply of artists than there is demand for artists... Just something to keep in mind....if the software you use is not expensive or can be downloaded for free off the internet...there is no demand for those who can use it because everyone can use it...sorry..

Personally; I think they are fantastic videos, very fluent animation and well modelled. I've worked in the Interactive Media Design industry for a good while now and being a freelance can be great, but it's also a challenge. When you say you are looking a Freelance job... you are already a Freelancer! For it's all about freedom. However... 90% of the time companies won't come to you unless you have a fantastic reputation, or a strong promotional campaign. What you have to do is have something to offer a particular company THEN YOU approach them, don't phone them, don't e-mail them... go to the companies HQ yourself and speak to the big guys. It may seem daunting, but confidence and attitude is all part of getting a sale.... Give a powerpoint presentation of your best work and show how you can animate videos and how they apply to the company. GREAT FOR PROMOTION, GREAT FOR YOUR WEBSITES, GREAT FOR LOGOS, GREAT FOR ADVERTISEMENTS, GREAT FOR TRAINING VIDEOS, etc, etc... show them the range of stuff you have to offer! The key principle of winning over a client is persistence. If they turn you down at first, become like a rash... NEVER let a sale get away, yet maintain professionalism at all times. Constantly critically analysize everything you do.... IS THIS REALLY GOOD ENOUGH? etc.... Whatever you decide to do, remember that getting your name out there is the main thing, because no matter how good you are (and you seem really good at the 3D stuff) clients will not come to you [initially], you have to go to them. All the best with that.

What to do if you dont get paid for freelance work?
Im new to the freelance field and my old job asked me to come up with some logo concepts. They laid me off and this is the first time I'm doing work for them as a freelancer. I've tried to protect myself by sending them low resolution images and an invoice. I still have the source files, but "What if..." my old job doesnt pay and uses my idea or uses something very similar ?

If you feel you have a legitimate verbal contract with them...and they use your stuff without paying you...then... You'd have to take them to Small Claims Court to recover the wages they refused to pay, and if a judge decides a verbal contract was made between you and your company, he will side on your case, you win, and then they have to pay you, or risk breaking the law themselves by refusing a court order...

Keep original work. Keep all transactions. Try to get a hold of their future publications. If you happen to see your original concept or work blatantly plagiarized and published, then contact a lawyer and sue the ba$tards. From here on in...take my good advice: NEVER EVER do work on SPEC without signing a contract and getting some money up front. Legit agencies/clients/publications PAY for these things: materials, time,conceptual art, ideas, designs. AVOID Craigslist for graphic freelance art jobs==it's a cesspool teaming with sheisters; looking to take advantage of artists

I'm a USA citizen and I applied for a job in Poland. If the company wants me, how can I get a working permit?
This is a short-term freelance job (about 6 months or less). I should get a working permit in USA before entry, right? How to do it?? and how long take it? Does the process take more than a month? Plus, while working in Poland, to visit other Schengen Countries, do I need to get a Schengen Visa first before going to Poland?

And as for free travel, as a holder of an American passport you have a visa-free entry to all Schengen states for up to 90 days in a year, irrespective of whether you are stationed inside one of the countries or not. If you are an accomplished typist - word processor and have recently visited your local city college or university librarian, you can apply as a "certified" graduate typist, earning between $1.50 to $2.00 per page for a master or doctoral thesis. The librarian will provide you with a sample of the typing template (i.e., margin settings, font selection, page set up, etc.) in order to complete these projects. First of all, do you write in your current job - in a corporate communications position, for example? What kind of freelance do you want to do - advertising, web site copy, brochures, direct mail, outdoor (billboards)? Editorial (magazines)? Public relations communications? There are various ways to find freelance writing gigs, but if you don't already have a lot of writing samples under your belt, you won't be considered. The competition is very fierce out there for clients and projects, and there are a lot of excellent established freelancers. I don't know specific websites, but if you lack the experience, I would suggest taking some writing/journalisn courses at a nearby college. The instructor would be able to provide some excellent tips. Another thing you can do is make everyone you know aware that you'd like to branch out. Start by doing some small projects for very little money for folks you know. EDIT: If you're an "expert" in a field, you might check your local newspaper and other publications to see if you could write a guest column - great for visibility. You can also develop a self-promotion piece - a mailer that tells people you're available.
