If you're freelancing, you're free to set the conditions yourself. Tell the company you only work from home, if that's what you want to do. Or tell them you'll work from home for X amount of dollars per hour, but if they want you on site, it will cost them X plus 10 percent. That's what I do (except sometimes it's 20 percent, if they want me to go in to the city, with all the traffic and parking fees.) You can do whatever you want. It's up to you to decide how bad you want the job vs. how bad you want to set your own ideal working conditions.
