A freelance job is a job doing one thing..such as writing an article, designing some graphics, etc. It is neither beneficial nor detrimental for someone with Aspergers.

ummm...what steve said. It really doesn't matter if you have Aspergers. You can do any task or job you challenge yourself to.

A freelance job is one done independently of an organisation. For example; a freelance writer/journalist is someone who researches a topic of their choice and may submit it to various difference unrelated papers for publication. Benefits for an Asperger: * You'd be your own boss. * Work to your own schedule. * Wouldn't have to work in an office or deal with others on a regular basis. Potential issues for an Asperger: * No regular pay check - paid only when work is submitted and accepted. * Organisational issues. Can you get things completed by a certain date without someone looking over your shoulder? * No guiding hand, somewhat like college/university. If you can't organise yourself, submit work on time etc. no-one will be there to help/motivate you. Such a job has several benefits for an Aspie provided you're organised enough to deal with the lack of support. Good Luck!!

A freelance job is a work that anyone, of legal age, can do anytime, anywhere where he or she is an independent contractor working on a project basis. It may be beneficial for someone with aspergers who might have issues in working with colleagues in a usual corporate setting. Just make sure that his or her condition won't have an effect on the outcomes of the freelance job or in meeting client's deadlines
