As a freelancer you will get paid by the one that has a job to do. Some sites allow a personal communication, some do not and force you to get paid through their service. You should try http://www.elance.com or http://www.getafreelancer.com. There are many people (freelancers) there from outside US.

Making money online is available not only for US people. It has been proved that anyone can make money online. You just need to find the matching source of information. Personally I find IncomeBooster.org extremely useful, especially for those who are starting to make money online, This blog shows you how to make money posting on forums, creating websites, trying software and even playing games!

There are a bunch of ideas listed in this article. http://www.ehow.com/how_2320443_extra-money-online.html Ehow is my favorite. I wrote about 30 articles last summer and I average $10-$15 a month since then even though I haven't written any more articles. You continue to get income each month from the articles you've written. You could really make a lot if you write more articles. Also, you can check out additional resources I've compiled at www.freewebs.com\askwendyrenee

How Do I Become a Teen Freelance Writer

How Do I Become a Teen Freelance Writer?
become a freelance writer for magazines. I am a teen who loves to write and my mom was actually a freelance writer for about 20 years. She was really good at it and made a lot of money. I don't want to get a boring work-the-cashier job at some fast food place. I rather write for magazines. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to find good magazines to write for, how to write query letters, etc. Thanks to all who answer.

contact a magazine company looking for interns.
2 :
1. Google "freelance writing jobs". A list of site will come up offering different jobs, and listings of magazines who are accepting freelance work. Usually the magazines are on very singular subjects (scifi, writing, cooking, etc), so pick something you're good at and start crackin'. 2. Query letters can be tough. You want to appear creative, interested and eager without sounding pleading. You also want to hook the reader in the same way your would a story (at least, this is what I learned from my screenwriting). I would honestly suggest asking you mother for the finer details, I'm sure she'd be glad to help and excited that her daughter shares her interests. Good luck.

Hey, You can look for writing jobs at http://www.freelance-projects.info/category/copywriting/ http://www.freelance-projects.info/category/translation/ http://www.freelance-projects.info/category/writing/ Best of Luck
4 :
First, get a copy of the Writer's Market 2009. This book has hundreds of pages and lists magazines' exact needs. There are also freelance websites if you would like to work online. My e-mail adress is bright-eyes-of-mine@hotmail.com I can send you links to four sites that I've made plenty of money on, but please use the link so that they know I referred you :) Magazines are not easy to break into, so working online might give you a boost and some credentials to begin with.
5 :
You could try this list: http://www.freelancewriting.com/guidelines/pages/index.php (claimed to list the magazines which buy from freelancers) Online Writing Jobs is dedicated to freelance writers http://www.online-writing-jobs.com/jobs/todays-online-writing-jobs.php You could find general info for freelance writers, advices, etc. at the Freelance Union http://www.freelancersunion.org/ . Also may find the blog http://freelanceswitch.com/ pretty interesting. Good luck

PLEASE READ!! Turned Away From Many Jobs because of Freelance Career, Thy Consider Resume "Jumpy"

PLEASE READ!! Turned Away From Many Jobs because of Freelance Career, Thy Consider Resume "Jumpy"?
I am 25 and live in NYC, I graduated in May 2004 with a degree in Communications. Since then I have been doing freelance work. I have made OK money, but at this point one of the problems is that I don't have health insurance, although, I am healthy. I have been trying to find a permanent job, but the problem I have been finding is that prospective employers feel that my resume is very "jumpy". It is the nature of the freelance business unfortunately. When you are done with a freelance job, you just leave My uncle owns a very successful business and offered me a job, but I am really not interested in waste management, and the starting pay he is offering me is half of what I am making right now, so it would be a massive pay cut for me. I NEED ADVICE!!!!

Best freelancing job in the computer science realm

Best freelancing job in the computer science realm?
Well I've been told that starting in freelance programming is not the best thing ever in this failing economy here in the U.S. I was told that by being a troubleshooting consultant, I would make a lot more money with less hassles. I'm just wondering how I could become that. Or if people have rebuttals against the whole "dwindling economy = no freelance positions" thing. I'm also open to any other possible job positions out there. My experience in C is fairly advanced, and I have done computer repairs for a year at a retailer. @Robert E. Lee: That doesn't answer my question.

I do freelance film production work. I need a flexible, skilled side job to supplement my income. Any ideas

I do freelance film production work. I need a flexible, skilled side job to supplement my income. Any ideas?
So some more things you should know about me.I graduated from Syracuse with a B.S. in Communications, I worked in tv/film production for two years freelancing (which is how you have to do it.) The work was irregular and low paying, needless to say I need a side job, that is higher paying, where I can kinda come and go as I please when production work comes up. I know a guy who was a CPA, he does production work like me now, and does accounting like 2 days a week. I know this is kind of a tough one, but can anyone reccommend a skill I can go back to school for (and not invest too much time an money) that will let me work fairly flexibly, so i can supplement my tv/film production income? I was told paralegal and bookkeeping were possible ways to go? Does anyone know if that's true? If not I'd love to hear about some other skilled "trades" that might let me supplement my production income. Thanks!

Catering work - in food prep or service, desk top publishing work - for financial publishing houses or corporations, IT jobs, home nursing jobs (the last too require some formal training). It's tough to balance these things. I have been doing that all my life. Be patient, stay focused and maintain the relationships you are building with people in the film business. When you have found your calling stick too it - building a career takes time, energy and love. Best of luck

Best or easiest way to get paid to do freelance writing

Best or easiest way to get paid to do freelance writing?
I'm looking for a way to leverage my interests, expertise and experience on a few different topics into a fairly steady supplemental income stream. I don't need big money, just something to supplement the day job. I'd be able to do some research, but nothing involving a lot of travel or a ton of extra time. So it would be awesome to hear about any methods others might have found, to find ready buyers for freelance non-fiction on whatever topics match up with the publisher's needs and my knowledge or abilities. Thanks!

That's a tough one, because it's tough to get started. I've done plenty of it, and assignments often go to people who have already written plenty on a particular area. In other words, editors call who they know. My advice would be to pick an area of expertise, figure out a way to do it -- even if you have to write for free, and build up a clippings file. Then you can start sending query letters out to publications and outlets of interest. One warning -- this is not a business for the faint of heart. Expect delays and rejections by the barrel. You'll have to keep at it. If you are good, you'll get some work down the road.

I write on health and wellness topics. I joined an online discussion group of health promotion professionals. Whenever a topic comes up that I have some experience or knowledge, I contribute in great detail. I try to not only be informative and helpful, but also show a little humor and make the information interesting. Then I sign the message with my full name, address, and phone number. I also include a title, "Freelance Health/Wellness Writer and Consultant." I would say that 90% of my business has been generated from this approach. It didn't happen overnight, mind you. It took months of consistent contributions. But eventually, I became a recognized entity and started getting inquiries. It has been my experience that many vendors are members of such groups looking for clients and resources. I'm not saying this is the best way to break into freelancing, but it definitely worked for me. If you can find chat/discussion groups in your area(s) of interest, give it a try
