Do you need a degree or anything for freelance jobs?
I would love to find some sort of job that has to do with typing! Is this what freelance jobs is about?What is the exact definition? Can I actually work from home doing this job?

No, you don't need a degree for freelance work. However, that depends on the type of job you're looking for. If you're trying to freelance as a software developer, you need either a degree or a lot of work experience - it's all about selling yourself. A freelance job means a job where you're not tied to a specific employer - essentially you will work on contract for anyone who will hire you. Freelance jobs could be from home. As to whether there are many home-based typists - I wouldn't think so, but I'm no expert there.
