help me find a job in display, merchandising or staging in the Denver area?
I am looking for a full time management level or part time freelance merchandising or display/staging job in the Denver metro area. I have over 15 years experience (including display and management at Nordstrom and Anthropologie) as well as many freelance jobs in the Denver/ Boulder area.

how many images should i provide for a freelance photography job where i was paid $250?
i was paid by a new web site to shoot a triathlon this weekend and i need to know how many images i should provide for $250

5 to 10 - with credit to yourself... and you should set a time limit before they need to repay... so for maybe 1 year, then renegotiate after the year... they are probably going to use them to make more money...

1 or 1000 - this should have been sorted out at the outset with the client

How do I get those first few freelance jobs

How do I get those first few freelance jobs?
I am trying out freelance graphic design, I have entirely mastered the programs needed for this, but I'm having trouble finding work. (I use ifreelance.com) I imagine after you do some jobs, and get some reviews/ratings, that It would be easier to find work, but how do I get the first few jobs?

Offer to work for One Dollar per hour and explain why you are doing so.

Honestly, OFFER your services free to a non profit org, I dont care if its as simple as your local girl scout chapter. Then when you have proven work in your portfolio, finding jobs will be easier. They dont know if you were paid for your services at the noin profit or not. They will just be able to see the proof that you know know your stuff
