As of Jan. 1, 2010, my freelance writing job changed from a W-2 to a 1099. I understand that I will owe just over 15 percent of my wages in every 3 months, but I'm not sure if the IRS will send me some kind of a form or if this is my responsibility. If it is my responsibility, can you send me a link to the form I will need to fill out and send? Thank you!

1. It is your responsibility. 2. It may be a lot more than 15%. 3. The form is Form 1040-ES. Do not send the entire form. Complete the entire form, but send only the voucher. Keep the rest of the form. 4. The form is at http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1040es.pdf
