When a provider is bidding on a freelance job if he wins does that mean that he'll have to pay the bid amount?
Does that mean he'll have to pay his employer for work?I'm confused.

I think what you're asking is, how does it work when people have to put in bids for a job. For example, my firehouse needs a new roof. We ask for bids from companies. Company A bids $10,000. Company B bids $12,000. What that means is, Compay A will perform the work if we pay them $10,000, and Company B will do the job if we pay them $12,000. We would go for the lowest bid, Company A, and we would pay them $10,000 for the new roof. Does that help?

No friend, you are mistaken. When a freelancer bid for any amount that means he/she is agreeing to complete the job in the said amount. Suppose you bid for $150 for designing a web template you are asking $150 from the publisher of the project to complete the web template. You can go ahead and bid for any project under your category
