Does anyone on here have a job as a freelance translator

Does anyone on here have a job as a freelance translator?
How do you like it? I speak three languages fluently. English and Czech are two, which i am translating to and from. I am working trough an agency, which sends me materials to wok with You are correct - the flexibility of this type of work is priceless and also, i work from home/or from anywhere i please. I translate a wide range of specializations and as such, i do need to use a dictionary at times - simply because some terminology needs to be translated precisely to the tee. I was thinking to get involved with PRO Z - a world-wide based Internet company, but i am not sure just yet I was hoping, someone would have some experience with this type of job :) But, no matter what, i love it and i would not change it for anything else, since i can be literary anywhere in the world and work even on some beach :) Besides i am the one who decides how many hours/day i spend working Thanks for your answer Sorry for typos :)) ..The IRONY :)) LOL

Yes! I'm a personal tutor for university students who are currently taking all levels of French classes, and I do translations by demand. I've helped translate anything from important documents to a product that will be sold in various countries. It's a pretty sweet job, because you get to chose how much you make people pay you, and you get to do it on your own time. The only downfall is that you absolutely need to be fluent in both languages. Or else you'll be needing a dictionary, and it makes the translation time even longer. Are you thinking about being a freelance translator? In what languages? I hope this helped you!
