One would think you'd be in very high demand these days considering all the work to be done in English and Arabic relations. have you checked with any local mosques or even halal markets maybe? Not to work at the market, but maybe they would know of a community group that could use some translation. Hell, even city hall would be a great place to check.

Translating sounds like a very specific niche type of job, but it's a very useful skill in almost any industry. You can pick up some side jobs or temp work by signing up for a free account on http://jobbullet.com. The paid accounts are only if you want to advertise your services on google. I recommend checking it out since it's free anyway and at least you get the word out to potential clients. Who knows, you may even land a full time position after doing a couple of small jobs
