Is there any paid freelance type of writing jobs online

Is there any paid freelance type of writing jobs online?
Im sort of looking along the lines of doing it on my blog or something like that. Articles on fashion maybe? Things for women/ lifestyle etc. Paid work, (UK btw) I tried to search for some websites but didn't really come up with much. Thanks!

I don't mean to be critical, but if you want to write, you should know that the title of your post should start with "are." Subject-verb agreement is something to pay attention to. I'm not sure if these sites work with UK writers (I'm in the USA) but you may want to look into them. Factoidz.com allows you to write what you want, publish it to the site and retain your rights after 30 days. Factoidz pays per view, so you could write about Fashion or anything else that interests you and drive traffic to the article via your blog, Facebook, Twitter and social bookmarking sites. To bypass the application and writing sample, use the following link: http://factoidz.com/earn-revenue-now/9M19768 Demandstuidos.com provides writers with topics and typically pays either $7.50 or $15.00 per article. Wisegeek.com also provides writers with topics and pays between $10 and $15 per article. Although I have not written for Suite101.com I have heard good things about the site. You may also want to look into constantcontent.com, associatedcontent.com and triond.com. These sites let you publish articles you want to write about and promote them yourself, like Factoidz. Good Luck!

Hi here is a link to an article for freelance jobs: http://animationguides.com/start-doing-freelance-graphic-design-jobs it is aimed to graphic designers, but you as a writer can also submit to the web agencies mentioned there, there are many works published for writers as well. Good luck :)

You can go to the Digital Point Forum and become an member. Several freelancers use the forum to solicit work and a lot of them are from the UK. You can find more about this at www.freelance.onlinemarketinganswers.com. If you produce quality work, you would be able to get more work than you could handle
