Here are some tips to find freelance work: 1. First, create a portfolio of articles in your areas of expertise and interest. 2. Next, go to your local library and get e-mail IDs of local journals and newspapers. Send e-mail to the editors of newspapers / magazines, expressing interest that you want to contribute articles to their publications. Attach to the e-mail one or more of your best writing samples. If the editors like your writing, they will contact you. 3. Create a website / blog and upload your best writing samples to it. Promote your website. 4. Write free articles to sites like ezine.com. At the end of the article, add your bio with a link back to your site. 5. Add a link to your website in your e-mail signature. 6.
